The guava here isn't candy-sweet like I feared, it's green and a little tart, almost like the fruit right off the tree. Wore it to a backyard dinner and two people asked what I had on.
I was worried a guava scent would turn out candy-sweet, but this stays green and slightly tart, like fruit still on the branch. It wears close to the skin for the first hour, then the tropical notes open up nicely.
I expected straight fruit but this leans more green and leafy, almost like the rind rather than the flesh. It settles into something warmer after an hour, which I ended up liking more than the opening. Wish it lasted a bit longer on my skin.
