The rice note here is soft and milky rather than sharp, kind of like steam rising off a fresh pot. It wears close to the skin and lasts a few hours, which is exactly what I wanted from an accord.

I've been layering this accord under heavier florals and it adds this soft, almost steamed-rice warmth that keeps everything from getting too sharp. It's an accord rather than a full perfume, so don't expect much projection on its own, but as a base it's become the one I reach for most.
