Marjoram

The marjoram note here is genuinely herbal without turning sharp or soapy on my skin. It wears close for a few hours then settles into something warm and quiet, which is exactly what I wanted for everyday wear.

I was worried an herbal fragrance would smell like a spice rack, but this one is green and softly warm instead. It wears close to the skin for a few hours before fading, which suits me fine for daytime.

This marjoram scent is so much more refined than the dried herb I cook with — it's aromatic and green without smelling like a kitchen. I wore it to a long dinner and kept catching it on my wrist hours later, which never happens with lighter herbals.
