Grapefruit Pith (nuta zapachowa)

The pith note is what makes this one interesting, that faint bitter edge underneath the citrus instead of just straight sweetness. It smells like peeling a grapefruit right at the kitchen counter, rind oil still on my fingers. Wore it on a rainy Tuesday and it brightened the whole afternoon.

I expected something sharp and sour but this accord actually smells like the soft white part of a grapefruit, slightly bitter and a little green. It layers nicely under a citrus floral without turning into cleaner smell. Wears closer to the skin than I figured, though it hangs on for a good few hour

The bitter green bite of real grapefruit peel is spot on here, not sweet or candy-like at all. I dabbed a little on my wrist and it lasted a few hours before fading. Wish the throw were a touch stronger, but as a layering accord it does its job.
