I expected a simple herb scent and got something way more layered — the basil stays sharp and sacred while something warm hums underneath it. Wore it to a long dinner and kept catching it on my wrist hours later.
The basil note here is greener and more herbal than I expected, almost like crushed leaves right off the plant. It wears close to the skin for a few hours before softening into something warmer. Genuinely one of the more interesting fragrances I've picked up this year.
I've worn basil-forward fragrances before but this one is different — it opens green and slightly sharp, then dries down into something almost meditative. It genuinely smells like crushed holy basil leaves, not a candle version of them.
