Vaahteranlehdet (sointu)

I was worried it'd smell like pancake syrup, but it's genuinely dry and leafy, like walking through a pile of them in late October. It stays close to the skin for hours without turning sweet, which is exactly what I wanted from an autumn scent.

The dry-down on this is what sold me, it goes from something sharp and green to this warm, almost sugary leaf pile smell. Wore it on a chilly walk and kept catching it on my scarf hours later.

I've been hunting for a true autumn scent for years and this one actually delivers — warm, slightly sweet maple with an earthy undertone, not syrupy at all. It wears close to the skin and lasts most of a workday on me.
