Musta mänty

I expected a straight pine scent but this is so much stranger and better — it dries down to something smoky and almost sweet on my skin. Wore it to dinner and two people asked what I had on.

The pine note here is sharp and resinous rather than sweet, which is exactly what I wanted for fall evenings. It stays close to the skin after the first hour, so a little goes a long way.

I've been wearing this for a week and the woodsy character really does live up to the name — deep and a little smoky without being heavy. It stays close to the skin for hours, which I actually prefer over anything loud.
