Albino Raspberry (sointu)

I layered this accord under a vanilla-heavy base and the raspberry stayed bright instead of getting swallowed up. It reads as genuinely fruity without tipping into candy territory, which is exactly what I wanted.

The raspberry note here is tart and almost pale rather than jammy sweet, which is exactly what I wanted for layering. A single drop on my wrist lasted a good four hours before fading. It's a really specific, unusual accord and I keep reaching for it.

I was skeptical an accord could feel this nuanced, but the tartness here is so crisp it actually makes my nose tingle the way fresh berries do. It layers beautifully onto skin without ever turning candy-sweet, which is exactly the artistic touch I’d hoped for from a perfume component.
