Arroz Blanco (Acorde)

The rice note here is soft and milky rather than sharp, kind of like steam rising off a fresh pot. It wears close to the skin and lasts a few hours, which is exactly what I wanted from an accord.

I've been layering this accord under heavier florals and it adds this soft, almost steamed-rice warmth that keeps everything from getting too sharp. It's an accord rather than a full perfume, so don't expect much projection on its own, but as a base it's become the one I reach for most.

It smells exactly like clean, warm rice straight from the pot—uncanny in the best way. Wore it to work and got two compliments without even mentioning it. This accord feels like a soft, cozy blanket in perfume form.
