Hoja de Shiso

The shiso note here is green and a little peppery, not the sharp herbal thing I expected. It stays close to the skin for a few hours, which suits me fine for daytime wear. Easily the most unusual bottle on my shelf right now.

I was worried shiso would read too sharp, but it's soft and herbal in a way that almost feels like a garden after rain. The standard size is generous enough that I don't have to ration it, and I've already worn it three days straight.

The shiso note comes through green and slightly herbal without turning sharp, which is hard to pull off. It fades faster than I'd like on my skin, maybe three hours, but I still reach for it on warm afternoons.
