Süßer Absinth

I was nervous about a fragrance this unusual, but it settles into something warm and almost vintage on my skin within twenty minutes. It's potent too, one spray on the wrist lasted a full workday.

I was worried it might smell like black licorice, but it's more of a soft, green herbal thing with just a hint of sweetness underneath. It stays close to the skin for a few hours, which is exactly what I wanted for wearing to work.

The licorice note is bold and unusual, which I appreciated, but it fades into something sweeter and more generic within an hour on my skin. The standard bottle size is fair for the price, though I wish the anise stayed sharper longer.
