Italský neroli

The neroli here is bright without being sharp, like orange blossom still on the branch. I've been wearing it on gray mornings just to fake a little Mediterranean sun, and it works.

The neroli is so bright and true — it smells like sitting in a Sicilian citrus grove rather than a perfume counter. It wears close to the skin but lasts a good six hours on me, and my husband keeps leaning in to ask what I'm wearing.

I wore this to a spring wedding and the Mediterranean citrus opening felt genuinely elegant without being loud. My only gripe is that it fades on my skin after about four hours, so I keep a travel spray in my bag to refresh.
