Absint

I was nervous absinthe would smell medicinal, but this is more of a soft, powdery herbal thing that lingers for hours. Wore it to dinner and kept catching it on my wrist.

The anise note hits first, then it softens into something almost herbal and green. I've been wearing it on cold evenings and it feels moody without being heavy. Genuinely the most interesting scent I've bought in years.

Wore this to a dinner party and got two compliments before the appetizers even landed. It settles into something warmer and softer after an hour, which I liked more than the opening. Wish it lingered a bit longer on my skin, but it's a genuinely interesting scent.
